I'm already missing my Christmas decorations, especially my kitchen decorations.

And I realized I never posted a "before and after" of what we have done to our kitchen so far.  Brett and I painted them shortly after we moved in.  Painting kitchen cabinets is a ton of work and not fun at all, but the end result is so, so worth it!

It's amazing what some paint, new hardware, and elbow grease will do!  It immediately brightened and updated the space.  It's not perfect, but I think it's still a pretty cute little farmhouse kitchen!

I also love these shelves that Brett built for me when we lived in our old house.  This is the perfect spot for them in this house.  I love them!  It was by far, my favorite DIY project that we have ever done.  Not to mention, one of the easiest.
