Friendship

I love having friends that support us and we support them.  We are lucky to have a good handful of these.  We went to Mesa in May, and we were able to get together with several of them in our really short trip!

I got to see my cousin Stacia, and we always enjoy talking and letting the kids play.  She cut and colored my hair and she gave Vivienne her very first haircut.

Then we went and visited my friend McKenzie, and got to see her new baby girl, Kate.  She was so beautiful and it was so fun catching up with McKenzie, I even forgot to snap a picture of us.

We got together with Aubrey and Presley, and let the kiddos eat pizza, fruit, veggies, swim, and play all afternoon.  It was great!  Aubrey is having twin girls soon, so we also checked out their new-to-them minivan!  Woot!

We met up for a mid-week, late dinner date with James and Jenessa.  Seriously, so fun and what a relaxing break from the kids.  We ate bruschetta, paninis, fresh salads, and a super amazing salted caramel sundae with vanilla bean ice cream.  It was soooo delicious.  The restaurant had a hipster vibe, and it was a fun ambiance.

Our friend Collin, who Brett has known for years (and they were actually roommates for quite a while during their single years), graduated from dental school.  So we went to a celebration for him.  Man, what an accomplishment!  I remember when Brett and I were dating, Collin was studying his brains out for these crazy-hard science classes in preparation for dental school.

So grateful for so many wonderful, supportive friends.  They are great extensions to our family, and we wouldn't be the same people without them.
