Sometimes we just need to get out of the house.

Even if it's not exciting or out-of-the-ordinary.

Brett often proposes these little spontaneous outings, and I'm always so grateful he does.

This time, we went to the store to get supplies for some projects that we are working on around the house.

Since we already made the 40 minute trek out to town, we decided to grab burgers at a local joint.
One of the best parts is, when the kids zonk out on the car ride home and we can just chill for the rest of the evening.  Just keepin' it real!
