Both of our parent's sent the kids the cutest Valentine's Day cards this year.  They were so excited and loved reading them over and over.  Brett's parent's taped a $10 bill in theirs and told the kids to buy a treat.

So, last weekend, we decided to use it!  We needed to run some other errands in town, so we made a fun night out of it.  Dairy Queen actually has a really good deal on kid's meals, so they got a whole dinner and big ice cream cone with their money.

They were both really excited about being in town.   Landon held the money the whole drive over (even when he fell asleep in his car seat) and gave it to the cashier when it was time to pay.
