We got the sick bugs while we were in Arizona...
Being sick is a bummer, but being sick away from home is even worse!

Landon woke up throwing up the night after we arrived in Arizona...
On the night of my sister's wedding, Vivienne started getting feverish and did not sleep at night for the rest of our trip.  It was rough!  I felt like she was a newborn all over again.  On our drive to Willcox, she kept dozing off, but she was so restless and did not get very great sleep.
Then, Christmas evening, I started feeling woozy--but chalked it up to lack of sleep.  The next morning, however, I ended up in bed with the stomach bug and a bad cold.  Thankfully the stomach bug was short lived, but the cold has held on for quite a while now.  I'm hoping I can shake it soon.  The silver lining, was that Brett and his parents were there to not only help me feel better, but to take care of the kids as well.  So I was able to just lay in bed all day long, which is a luxury I don't usually have on my sick days.
Hoping that we got all the bugs out of our systems and we can spend the beginning of 2016 healthy!

This year we were able to spend Christmas in Willcox down with Brett's family!  We had a great time and it was so fun for the kids to be able to play with their cousins that they miss so much.

While we were in Arizona, my sister got married!  It was so fun being a part of the special day!  They are a beautiful couple, and are going to have the cutest babies, I'm sure of it!

Of course, I didn't snap a photo of all of us with the bride and groom (what was I thinking??), so I'm anxious to see what the photographer captured of us.

Brett and I enjoyed reminiscing the whole evening, since this is the same venue we held our wedding reception.

This is one of my favorite traditions that we have started as a family.  I've started a collection of about 13 Christmas books (and plan to eventually add to it to make 25 total, one for each day of December before Christmas--or even more and some nights can have more than one book).  But around 12-13 books has been perfect so far--it can be used to do "The 12 Days of Christmas".  This year we did the first 12 days of December, since we left on the 13th to go to Arizona.
